i can't beleive it.
my and my best mate were out drinking on friday night, decided we'd had enough about 1am and started the walk home. i only live about 500 metre's away from the bars in town so it's not even that far.
about half way home we were approached by a gang of about 15-20 16 year old kids, all wearing townie sportswear, adidas kappa and that. before we knew it they'd surrounded us and pulled my mate back, dragged him to the floor and kicked the sh*t out of his face.
as i turned around one of the girls took my phone from my pocket and ran off i could have caught the little sh*t but i was more worried about my mate, who was knocked out in a pool of blood.
luckily some other guys helped me scare off the kids, and we had to ring an ambulance for my mate, who now has 7 stitches above his eye, a broken nose, a very badly split lip and a badly sprained wrist. when we got to the hospital he realised they'd stolen his phone too.
i really can't beleive this. luckily he can't even remember the ordeal, but it's really shaken me up.
and it looks like i'm going to have to fork out for a new bloody phone now, well not happy about this.

no they didn't hit me, it all happened so quickly that i don't really know why.
i just feel so bad that my mate got beaten up and i'm fine, but he'll be okay, just very bruised.
we joked that atleast his skin will grow back, but our phones won't! haha
i don't know why they never stole either of our wallets though?!

What's the point in nicking a phone anyway? Once it's reported the network should be able to block it so useless to be honest. I doubt they're clever enough to try and flog it abroad but there we go...
If you have house insurance you should be covered by this so make a claim, you might need to report it to the police though to get a crime reference number (you did go to the police to report this incident yes?).
