> Possible issue with K750i battery
Bookmark topic
I woul like to know if I have an issue with my battery
Situation:
- Phone K750i
- Purchased December/05
- battery produced on w41 / 2005
- CID 36 – red
- Flashed with R1CA021
- Memory stick 500 Mb
- BT always on
- Display luminosity 100%
Typical use
- 40-50 hours / week in standby
- 10 – 15 minutes / week on speaking
- 1-2 times / week as camera (2-3 photos/ week)
- Used only some time as MP3 player for few minutes
- 1-2 / week with java application (15 minutes max / week)
- Charged 1 time / week
- Connected to PC for data sync 1 time / 15 days
Now I started to see a strange behaviour:
1) the battery go down very quickly when used (simply navigation though menus) – with full charged battery it go down at 50% after 10 minutes of menu navigation
2) the battery go down when starting the phone, then after some time in standby it will return up (I know that this is typical of SE phones but here it’s very noticeable)
3) battery go down by 50% from full charged after 15 minutes of conversation
4) after full charging going in phone status it say battery at 90 – 91% (note: it show the message “full charge” so no issue with “no full charge” message)
5) in stanby the phone seems to loose 10- 15% after 12 hours (not so bad) - this is frustrating!
6) when leaved turned off it seems to loose some charge (about 15-20% every day)
7) switching off the BT and luminosity to 50% don't seems to improve the situation.
My questions:
1) It’s all that normal?
2) the battery is worn out?
3) Defective battery? (in this case it can be replaced under guarantee?)
4) It’s on R1CA021 the same battery bug as in R1BC002
5) Charger problem?
6) Other problems to be suspected?
7) it's my typical use that worn out the battery?

what is the expected life time for such battery (life time I means durability in years of life before it's worn out)
