Has anyone managed to install MMS settings. I'v tried via the internet with no success. the last straw was just now I called C.P.W. customer service, for 15 mins I listened to a recording that my call was inportant. Then I was cut off. I'm now going to cut off my direct debit, and cancell my contract.

I cannot get my O2 K800 settings to work so you are not alone on this one. I've heard from a contact at O2 that there is a problem with the automatic settings for the K800 and they have to be input manually. I've done that and it still doesn't work. In most cases if entering the settings manually doesn't work its because MMS hasn't been provisioned for your account (i.e. they have not activated it). That means you have to call O2 and get them to switch it on.
Apparently the K800i isn't flagged automatically by the network as an MMS capable phone. That's how great O2's aging network is!!!

Settings were APPLIED for from Carphone Warehouse web site. I received a text to say that I would soon receive the settings. That was the last I heard.

i got the settings for my k800 from the s.e. website, although i had to change the settings slightly to use with my pay as you go sim.
go to connectivity, data communications, data accounts,o2 wap gprs and select edit,apn-change to payandgo.co.uk,username-change to payandgo,password-change to payandgo.
use the mms settings as sent from the s.e website.

When I bought my o2 branded K800 I contacted O2 to send the settings. They sent them and when I installed them a message came up saying INVALID SETTINGS.O2 sent them twice but wouldn't work.Ended up copying them from my k750 and all worked fine. When I used Wotan to debrand the phone.I had to put the settings in again.I went on O2 site, got them from there and installed with no problems.

If yours was branded then surely the settings were already there, mine were. Or are you on payg?

I bought the k800 on O2 3g P&G but wanted to use it with my contract 3g sim.The pre installed settings were for o2 P&G.The contract settings o2 sent me wouldn't work so i copied them from my k750 and worked fine.Updated and debranded via Wotanserver which erased all settings and installed only one called SEMC GPRS.Went onto o2's site.Had the settings sent and all installed fine.
