Hey

I did a search but couldnt find the answer to this one

Is there a high capacity battery in the pipeline for the P990? I've read that the supplied battery is ok but would like to get more juice in my phone which is arriving tomorrow

cheers

This is good news. I was a little suprised by having only a 900mAh battery when my WM2005 devices have more. But as said, it does appear to be fair for general use. Mine lasted just over 3 days with brightness turned down, some texts, few phone calls (not long), about half hour of WLAN usage, plus other "playing" with the phone. I have turned 3G off for now and want to see if that makes it last longer as when I was going in and out of a 3G area the battery seemed to drop much quicker.

3 days !?!?!?

you must be a very light user.

typical experiences have been 1 to 1.5 days with BST33 on P990i

If i manage to avoid using wifi like mad when i get to my home at night, i can get more than one day, with only PIM, calls, sms and music usage...but wifi just drains it like mad

On GSM only, I manage to squeeze out 1.5 days worth on an average with flip on.

I suspect that battery life gets shortened with the flip off, is this just me noticing things that really aren't there??

I wonder if there will be 'unofficial' versions of the battery floating around on eBay soon?
