Hi everybody,
which one of the following models: SE J100i, SE T290, SE J210i, SE J230 can be used as an external modem being connected through cable to my Laptop. I'm interested in the cheapest solution for getting my Laptop connected to the internet.

As long as we are talking about internet access using the mobile phone, none of the solutions (GPRS/3G/HSCSD etc) is cheap, I'm afraid. The operators charge way too much per megabyte compared to a cable connection.
