OK, so I am in a bit of a quandry.
I am looking to get myself an exclusive mobile, (why I really have no idea, I have loads of mobiles coming out my ears), and I have narrowed the choice to 2 options,
1. Nokia 8800 Sirocco (Black)
2. B&O / Samsung Serene.
Now I really know that the Nokia is a 'better' handset in respect of spec, but I can't seem to get my head off the B&O unit.
I know the Nokia will be exclusive, but not nearly so much as the B&O, and thats what attracts me to it.
I have read all the reviews out there, but have any of you got or had the Serene and have any opinion on it?
No offence to anyone, but I don't want the usual, this is great and that is shit replys from people who have not owned one.
regards
David

serena is sg really special, mainly cos of the barnd name, i am a big fan of it. 8800 isnt that a big deal imo next to it serena will keep the price, 8800 will drop

I have had both the Serene and the 8800 (Normal edition). The Serene is awesome and even though its running a Saumsung UI, it has little features that make it special. The BT link to the deskstand whih open flip when receiving text or call (need to be in dock). The Serene is made of a nice rubber feel and just oozes individuality.
Its not a texting phone though, but if you can get used to the jog dial system, then go for it.
The 8800 is in my eyes an expensive 6230. But you also pay for build quality. But i cant comment on the Sirocco Edition.

Can someone post/upload a pic of the Samsung Serene

I've heard sooooo many words that the Nokia 8880 is PURELY for show-off with LESS functionality/features at it's - PRICE ! Perhaps, I'll go with the Samsung here . . .

Usability is king..so that leaves the serene dead in the water..as for the 8800...it ain't that special either..had a play with it the day before yesterday...it's ok, but certainly not worth any sort of premium at all.
