Hi everybody,

I just bought a Branded

Vodafone Belgium K800 and I really want to have the newest firmware with all the improvement but I am not very enthousiastic by debranding my phone !

Does Vodafone release new firmware later ?
Do you think I can wait or is it hopeless ?

SonyEricsson does update operator branded software, but nowhere near as often as they do with their generic, unbranded software.
Vodafone has to collect a number of serious complaints about 'their' software first, before they ask SE to solve them. Changes to branded software cost operators a lot of money since development costs are higher for the tailormade software.
