Whenever I try play a media file within the phone, the volume is really low. So low that I have to put my ear to the speaker just to hear it.

Im assuming there is some sort of volume block since they play just fine when I use them as a ringtone. Can this be easily bypassed?

if your firmware still stick to R1CA021 or before.. you still get the chance to increase the volume on your K750 by using Far system.. you just need to exchange few stuff in the acoustic folder.. get more info from Get Rid of hissing noise
