Hi
I'm considering buying a bluetooth dongle for my pc, so that I can use it with my K750. I'm awarre that you can control winamp and powerpoint, but I'm notm sure sure about the 'desktop' title in the k750 menu. If you go to MENU>ENTERTAINMENT>REMOTE CONTROL
then you find 3 options: Presenter, Media Player and Dektop.
Basically, what does 'desktop' do? Does it let me control the pc mouse cursor movement from my phone, or......?
Thanks
Y. M.

Yes, you are right. With Desktop you can control your mouse in your computer.

So if I set this up, and look at my computer screen whilst moving the phones joystick, will I see the cursor move smoothly in that direction, or is it more likr the the "tab" key on a keyboard that makes the cursor jump from thing to thing?
Thanks again

Smooth movement, not jumps.

And can I adjust the speed at which the cursor moves?

i) There are a number of apps, that work on LOW-END phones as well as k750 types that allow you to control your computer (over gprs). You can actually see your dekstop and everything on these apps. So i see no reason why this can't be done using bt and top end phones in relatively close (abt 100m) ranges (as oppose the potentially miles using gprs connection).
ii) I was thinking that one of the main points of bieng able to control your audio player from your phone was so that you don't have to keep on getting up to change it etc... So what's the point in bieng able to move your mouse cursor from your mobile, if you have to be almost seated at your computer to see where that mini arrow cursor is moving to? Might aswell use your mouse? I would have thought it's easier and quicker.
Comments?
