He's right, at least that's what it says on the site. If you want, you can download Google Maps for United States/Canada. I am trying it right now to see if you can use it for some other countries.He was right. Only for USA, Canada, Cuba and some South America.
Can't find Romania on Mgmaps...so no good for me.

I've been using this since I got my P990. It has detailed maps for UK and europe too although I noticed it does say US/Canada on the site.
works great on TyTN too!
However,
whereis in Australia is a much better product on
Telstra phones (this is the one I just got) as it also knows exactly where you are and can even find local "whatever you want" things like restaurants, accomodation, attractions etc etc and also route you to them
