Hello,

For some reason the c-drive on my P900 was filling up with nothing for the last couple of months.
Next to 400kb of sms, 400 kb of contacts and some appointments in my agenda the p900 should be completely empty (except for pre-installed software of-course).
However the whole 16 MB was in use.

After a complete backup I performed a master reset on my P900.
Everything was working and decided I could restore the backup (4.8 MB).
This took a while as my 2000 sms' had to be restored.
Everything seemed to be going allright untill the phone restarted and I found out all my sms and contacts are missing! Strangely enough the phone's c-drive is filled again and using s-man I can see the messages in the c:\system\mail folder.

Does anybody have an idea what wnt wrong and/or how I can fix this?!

Thanks!

How about forgetting the 2000 SMS's and starting with a clean slate?

One of the reasons I chose for the P900 is the large sms memory. But I could of-course live without, however not having any of my contacts is really annoying.

Please does anyone know how I can save as much of this data possible?

Why don't you just restore it again? And check your settings, maybe you didn't want initially to back-up sms. as I remember you couldn't back up sms' in P 900. I always used a program called "Message storer" to back-up sms externally. If you want it, PM me.

701, that's very nice of you but I can't make a new backup/export as everything is gone.
I've tried restoring again with the same problem..

No, i know you can't back it up again, just to restore it from your last back-up. BUT again I tell you, I don't think the P 900 DOES back-up sms. I had a P910i for two years and I've used that program I was telling you about.
