Hi
I can't seem to find much info on what 'stacks' are, when it comes to bluetooth.
If I buy some unbranded v2 dongle from ebay, what are the chances it won't work with the k750 remote function? Will it run on it's own 'stack', or do all bluetooth adaptors (reagrdless of make) run on either a toshiba stack, or microsoft stack some other Major brand?
Adding to the above, will a device run on any stack, or do dongles only run on a set 'stack'?

Have you noticed that even some major brands don't specify whether or not their device supports the HID profile? Does this mean all of them do, like any bt dongle would transfer files?

All bluetooth dongles will have their own stack provided (usually the widcomm stack) but if you have Windows XP SP2 then you can use the built in Microsoft stack which works with every dongle.
You'll have no problem with the HID function as its a basic function that most stacks (whether that be MS, Widcomm, HP, etc) support.
