is there any java app that can shutdown a sonyericsson phone after a specific time? like 1 or 2 hours?

I very much doubt it, Java is a sandboxed platform that cannot control the phones functioning at all.

That is entirely true. Can you imagine the viruses that would be written if you could easily shut down the phone via Java?
