i had a different bug, last night i tapped the time(from the desktop/standby screen) to set the alarm when the phone just started vibrating. i couldnt stop it since the only app open was time and i had already flushed it. however, it was still vibrating. all i could do was turn off the phone. After turning it on again and trying to set an alarm time it hust went vibrating again. turned it off the second time around. i managed to get a time on the alarm by going to the control panel and time instead of just tapping the time during standby. i hope that get's fixed on the new fw.

Hello,

I have exactly the same problem when setting the alarm: it does not stop vibrating and I have the latest R9EC001 f/w for the phone / R5A02 for the PDA.
Do you know whether other people have the same problem and when it is going to be fixed?
Which f/w do you have
Cheers

That is not the latest fw. Its R9F011 and org. R5B17.
BUT when you have that new one, then you have ANOTHER BUG, which is all Alarms are VERY LOW volume!!! Very annoying.

I had the alarm bug in R4B and after getting R5,i got it again after doing a restore.
Today,I was soo pissed off coz it woke me up early...since i couldn't go back to sleep,i did a master reset and restored all the files except the "setting" in the PC suit.Settings contained my settings for shortcuts,my internet account,my bookmarks etc...so the next 1 hour was spent doing all the settings i had done all over again...in the course,i made a better customization.
After setting up my settings,i made a back up of the phone.

Now i am very happy with the phone...no more alarm bugs(and most of the things i use in it works fine). So till they sort out the alarm bug,i think i will carry around my good old K700 for the wake up alarm.

Okay, and what about the VOLUME of the alarm? You are saying yours is as loud as before?
Mine and many others' is VERY low volume.

the volume is not loud but the frequent vibrationwas unbearable on snooze mode which i kept pressing in my sleep(i sleep with the phone right next to my pillow as i like to listen to some music just before i sleep)
