> Video startup lag (p990i)
Bookmark topic
Hi!
Ive been searching and searching and i cant find the fix for the video startup lag, maybe it wasnt even this forum.
Anyway there was some app you had to use to split the streams (audio and video) then add some helper streams and put it all back and all videos started to play in an instant. Can anyone help me find that thread or point me in the right direction please?
Cheers
MS

If you have linux, here is what I did:

(it might work in windows as well, if the needed software is available)
Or play wioth Super a bit, it might have an option which solves the problem.

Space's technique works fine on Windows too, exactly as described.
The Windows binaries for the mpeg tools used are available for download here:

Works just fine now - though I've got some sound dropout issues on the test movie I ran... bitrate is very high, though...

Sure does fix the start lag... but my sound is not in sync with the video ?
When I processed the file I did not get track 7 or 8 created ? Also the
Windows version crashed while doing the processing of the audio.aac file
may this is why ?
E.g. when mp4creator -H -i -I -c input.aac output.mp4
is this line wrong ??
Any other ideas to fix out of sync issue ?
OK.. got it working ok now... sweet fix.
