Ordered a Nokia N93 from Expansys yesterday. B Stock with battered box and lens cap missing. Got it for £340 instead of full price of £470.
Arrived today. Box unblemished, lens cap there, seen worse supposed new ones.
Bargain or what? Superb phone...
Doug

Being an honest person, I think I ought to send it back and tell them they've sent me the wrong one.

Col................. twas a joke! Not often do I fall on my feet! What a phone though? This one will last more than a week!
The funny thing is my other half, who hates me swapping phones, said to me the other day "I've just found your next phone, this is nice". She showed me a leaflet for Vodophone - you know, free phone for £70 a month for 18 months. Bargain.
And here it is. Sim free and unblemished. And with the others half's full support! HaHa.

When I said this phone would last more than a week, no-one told the phone itself!! Got it Tuesday, fine yesterday, this morning would not switch on. Dead as a dead thing! That was after being on all night to top up battery.
Rang Expansys, need to send it back for a flaming refund as they have no other stock. Still got no RMA number from them to return it although asked at 0830 this morning.
Does B stock mean it has a limited life? TWO DAYS?
A very sad Doug

Why should I, Col, when it's only, to me, a couple of days old? I rang the local Nokia Service Centre who said the best thing was to ship it back to Expansys if it failed after only two days. Get rid of it, the man said!
Why me?

You do seem to be cursed with the worst luck ever when it comes to phones! It must be even more galling after thinking that your luck was finally in and you'd stumbled across one hell of a bargain, only for this to happen. This is probably a silly question, but have you tried removing then re-inserting the battery?

Also try leaving the batt out for a few days. I had a K750i for example, which had slight water damage so the mem card reader didn't work. It then started hanging when searching for a signal all the time after I kept trying to get it to recognise a memory stick, so took the battery out then went on holiday for 12 days. Came back, put the battery back in and I was amazed when it powered up perfectly and was fully working! (Still didn't accept mem sticks though)

Did they say they'd be getting any more stock in at any stage in the near future?

Hi Sammy. I am still waiting an email from them with return instructions, they are not the fastest firm in the land! Just keep an eye on their B stock on the website, that's where I picked it up. They have none in stock at all at the moment. And remember you have to add VAT to the prices. It may look a bargain at £295 but after VAT, it is £350!!
I will try the battery again (it's in the right way) before I finally sent it back but feel really hacked off. Think that Nokia 3310 is coming back out again, had no problems with that whatsoever! lol
