I can't find out how to enable pictures to be accepted by the PC.
I've got an SonyEricsson T68i with a communicam and I'm using the MSI Bluetooth Key. I'm using the latest MSI software (12.1.1.15) and I've done the firmware upgrade to the key supplied with this driver set. I'm using Windows ME.
I can transfer objects to the phone using the MyBluetoothplaces/My Device/Inbox copy. I've downloaded FloatsMobileAgent, and that works perfectly.
I've tried the SonyEricsson suit version 'R4APackage2' however I couldn't get it to detect my phone, so I've now uninstalled it.
I've looked through the options in the MSI bluetooth config, and there is a list of check box's under the 'Information Exchange' tab. These allow business cards, notes, emails to be sent to the PC. I've sent a note to the PC and that worked ok.
When I try sending a Picture to the PC, the phone finds the PC, however just after it starts sending to the PC, it comes up with a 'Transfer Failed, Please Retry' message. I guess this is because the PC isn't accepting the picture.
Please, if anyone knows how I can sort this out, let me know.

the original software that came with the msi is not capable of accepting objects from the T68. check this topic to find out if the software has been upgraded to support that -

I'm looking at that thread. Unfortunately it looks like 21 pages of waffle.
Can anyone actually answer my question.

Ok, I'll answer my own question for the benefit of anyone else who doesn't fancy reading through 21 pages of off topic.
To send pictures from a T68i to a PC using any bluetooth adapter, you must have version 12.2.2.16 software.
Here is a direct link to the driver - this is a 16mb download.

Ok - adding to my frustration - this still doesnt work.
I've downloaded version 12.2.2.16 from the Tecom site as posted above.
I have read through that 22 page thread, and there is NO helpful information.
*GOwin. What OS are you using? When I installed version 16 it didn't ask me for any other driver location. When I installed the Tecom software, it didn't come with the driver for the MSI key. Therefore once I'd installed ver 16, I went to Windows/System dialogue and reinstalled the MSI dongle by clicking 'reinstall driver' and pointing to the location where I extracted version 15. This then installed the MSI key. Is that what you meant?
As far as I can tell, I can see no difference between version 16 and 15. Someone mentioned that they removed the msi key while the computer was on, then re inserted it - then the send picture miraculously started working. I've tried this, and I still get a 'transfer failed' message on my phone. I've also tried uninserting the msi key while I boot up, then inserting it. Still I get the 'transfer failed' message.
In 'My Bluetooth Places' I've created a shortcut to Serial 1 and the Information Exchange ('OBEX push'). I have no troble sending files to the phone using the Inbox, Float works fine.
Please, anyone that has got it working, can they post a PROPER ANSWER to what they did.
PS if anyone adds a reply directing me to that other thread again, I'm gonna get very annoyed.

Ok looks like we are going to get another 22 page thread!
You haven't mentioned which OS system you use. I am running XP pro and have had untold problems and farting about but mine now works like a dream. This is what I did:
Uninstall all old versions first and any other bluetooth software. Once installed (version 16) you don't even need to pair your phone. Just make sure your key is working properly ie. blinking and the driver is working properly etc. (it shouldn't matter which version driver for the key you use only which version software as I believe the key driver to be the same on all versions but I could be wrong).
Then go to pictures or sounds (on your phone) and send via bluetooth. You may find it says 'No bluetooth devices found' on your phone. I had this and I had to try quite a few times before it found my computer. However, once it finds it the phone seems to remember from the time before and finds it immediately after that. It only forgets if you switch the phone off and then it seems to take a few goes again. One thing I found helps is unplugging and replugging the key in.
A good way of seeing if there is anything happening is to look at the blue light on your phone and pc whilst you are trying to send. They should flicker rather than blink. If they do and you still don't find the pc then try again a few times. It should work - honest!
If they don't flicker then you may have another problem which will take more investigating.
You can change the folder the files go into in the bluetooth configuration. Be sure to change both address paths on that page.
Hope this helps!

By the way. What's happened to this page? It doesn't fit on the screen? Is it just me?
