> Go to page feature?
Bookmark topic
I was wondering whether there was any chance this feature could be implemented so that when there is a large topic, for example the "sony ericsson P990i discussion" which has 395 pages, we can press a button and type in the page number we want to go through rather than sifting through the thread untill we find it.
I know there is a bookmark feature but what if we don't know exactly what we want but have a general idea that it may be around page 157 for example, it would take ages to find it.

I second that. It's painful to skim through the threads.
I will be repeating myself but, there is also this other issue that should be implemented to the "Edit your preferences" page. It would be great to be able to choose the number of posts we can see in a page. The way it is now, you have to click for the next page so frequently, not user-friendly at all.
Hear the call, moderators!

Correct, but it's tedious to have to alter the bookmark or page url when you browse nearly exclusively from a phone, as many of us do...

It would be much pratical to have a 'go to' feature. Nice idea.

Thanks, don't know why it hasn't been mentioned before really. Hopefully Laffen will decide to implement it for us.

AND, why not change the paging? it is currently using the start from post database standard paging, but it should be page wise paging......
ie: 50 posts per page on a thread that has 1000 pages, and you want to go to the 5th page......how is that done? well, you need to then calcualate by hand, 50*5 = start from 250. Isn't it just easier to mark that page as page 5?
Look at the vbulletin forum so you understand what i mean.
http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showthread.php?t=205777&page=2. See the page=2 in the link? That is how it should be. It is then very simple to just make a little input so that you can set the page to go to as you guys say, which just adds the page=X to the link....
