I could've sworn I saw a 'bugs' thread somewhere.
I'd MUCH rather the phone crash like it did before. At least then i KNOW it's not working. Right now, all the other functions work fine, but from time to time, the phone decides that it's not going to take calls anymore. Tried from different phones at different times. So it's not the service provider. When that happens, turning the thing off w/ the power button is useless and I have to flip off (pun intended) the battery.
Anyone else encounter this? If yes, any solutions? Please help!

I have experienced this with the P990. I use two twin SIM cards where two phones should be ringing at the same time. Sometimes the P990 is quiet while the other phone is ringing.

it's a 3g bug if you live near a location where 3g has limited coverage you will get this when the phone loses contact with a 3g network it will not accept calls for about 2 minutes until it re connects to a normal gsm network the solution is to deactivate 3g on your phone if you are not using it. an it will not do this again. (another of the many bugs) but i still love this phone.....

I suggest that too, just deactivate the 3g, it can cause problems, appart from all the juice it takes from the battery.

would probably solve the porblem. Except i'm on the other side of the pond. The side where all we have is "EDGE" (GPRS). no 3G here unfortunately.
