is it possible to hide the sidebar on the orange homepage like on the p910?
if not, i think this is a crazy move by orange....the sidebar is ugly, even with my OSX theme installed....

The answer to your questions is no. There is no way of removing the icons it is programmed into the phone software.
I know that Orange have removed the icons on some other phones and have put options in some phones that you can swicth the function of.
Im sorry i cant be more helpful, but this is a quirke that orange use and they have stopped caring about what customers want.
The quick features are there to make customers life easier!!
