SEUS hangs with my Orange UK K800i.

It gets to the screen which gives me instructions to remove SIM, replace battery, hold C down and connect USB cable, but will not go any further. I have waited up to 5 minutes... I have to go "Back" then "Exit".

PC Suite runs fine, I regularly synchronise using it. I can transfer files both ways in "Phone Mode " and "USB mode". MyPhoneExplorer works fine.

Has anyone else seen this?

I was having the same problem today with the 750i, but got it sorted. The download should start within seconds of you plugging the USB into the phone.
I've posted the reply below on another forum...hope it helps...

-------------------

Having just upgraded(?) to XP, I was able to use SEUS for the first time.

...but I couldn't get past the page with the instructions;

Switch off phone
Remove battery
Remove SIM
Replace battery
Hold "C" etc etc

Every time I plugged the USB cable in, nothing happened.This is how I resolved the problem;

1/It doesn't really make clear (at least it didn't to me ) that you need to press and CONTINUE to press "C" whilst connecting the USB cable.
2/Also, when you remove the battery & SIM, don't just slot the battery back into the phone immediately,
leave it out for a few minutes.
3/ Disable your anti-virus.
Once I had done these three things, the download began!
It took about six minutes on a 2meg BB connection, so I'm guessing it was "big"
Hope this helps anyone having the same prob.

Here's the figures;

Previous Versions; R1L002, Camera SW 4.4
New Versions; R1CA021, Camera SW 5.3

I updated my Orange K800i with Wotanserver, great value... only 7 Euro (£4.43)... the latest firmware AND you get an unbranded phone. The Orange settings are downloaded after switching on the phone after upgrading, so no worries there. Don't forget to back up your contacts etc. because it will wipe everything.
