> Help compliation music folder on P990!
Bookmark topic
How can you put your own music folders onto the P990, eg if you have a folder called My Tunes with various MP3 file from different Albums and copy it to the ms duo when using the MP3 player it sorts it into its original album folders and not your compilation folder of My Tunes, it seems you can only make a play list from the original albums but having all these on the duo means more memory used as you might only want a couple of tracks from each album.
In my P910 I could just place the My Tunes folder in the music file and the MP3 player would recognise the folder.
Any ideas please would be most welcom, i have looked in the setting but cant find anything there and also tryed using the SonyDisc2phone software to transfere the folder with no luck.
Thanks for any help you can give

I had the same problem and tried several things to fix the problem.
The only solution I found was to change the name of the album in all the mp3 files to "My Music" (or so) using iTunes. That means that, in order to keep your original files, you have to choose the music you want to transfer to P990, copy that music in a new folder, change the name of the album to the music in this folder using iTunes, and then transfer it to P990.
I know that is not a "fine" solution, but it is the one I have found.
