I think I saw it somewhere but I would to ask and get some details. Is it possible to make a cell phone or what ever like mp3 player for example that will charge without a direct contact with the charger like lets say it will be placed in the cradle but there will be no wires or connectors going inside the device?

i haven't SEEN any, but i've heard of battery operated charge packs. The 'cradle' is actually a battery, so you plug that into the wall for say, a day or two, it charges up for 2/3 charges, and you plop the phone into the 'cradle' when you are out and about. That's the closest I've heard.

But for something to charge without connection to a 'source'. It's not exactly possible. Remember that you charge stuff with electrical currents. Electrical currents aren't going to just 'JUMP' from the walljack to your phone. It'd be rather scarie if it could. Think about all the innocent people that would get zapped walking between the outlet and the phone =)~

first of all i have a skin care device from Japan http://www2.panasonic.com/web[....]=Women's%20Beauty&displayTab=S

and in recharges without any contact with metal surface of the charger or what ever...

the question is how small could the device be not the charger, like could it be a wristwatch?

http://www.thesmartpda.com/50[....]phone_or_pda_without_wires.php THAT IS WHAT I WAS TALKING ABOUT, does any one knows the details of such a devices?
