> ipod video buggered within a week!

got an ipod video last week and its broke already, anybody else had a probelm like this? Mine froze, so i did a reset and not i get the 'sad ipod' logo and cant reset or force it onto drive mode! I had a skin on from new but took the skin off now and got 2 BIG scratches on the back and loads scuff so i want to return it anyway!
What do they send you after you return it? mine was a refurb

If you put a screen protector on from new then it will stay pristine, i learnt that the hard way lol!
Just return it, mine was 10 months old and i got it send back and got a brand new one straight away, just the ipod on its own in a box.
But mine was brand new and not a refurb so not sure what they would do with yours really, maybe replace it with another refurb.
This is why a buy brand new.

kewl cheers. iv asked for them to send me a box to send it box. i had a skin on it from new and the backhad some deep scratches on it!
i hope they dont fix it. i want a new one. when they send you a new one do you get a new 12 month warrenty?

im sure someone said they kept fetting a new one so they kept breaking it to renew the warranty

Yeah but theirs wasn't a refurb, the procedures maybe different if you buy used. Best thing is to send it off asap. If it is only 2 weeks old then you will still have nearly the full warranty so i wouldn't worry.
