I have a SE w810i... Now the issue iam facing is that everytime i delete a file from my phone it still appears in the tracklist of my phone... The file is actually deleted from my memory card but it still appears in the track list..

Now even if i delete it from my tracklist the next time i restart the Walkman app the track comes again...

Sometimes when i try to delete the track from my list it comes as failed...
((iam not trying to delete the default tones on the phones))

I even tried sorting the playlist but still the deleted tracks appear

I transfer MP3 files directly to this folder on the MS..
MSSEMC\media files\audio ..
I do not use Disc2phone or anyother software for transferring the files...

Please help me with some solution for this problem...

I finally found a solution to this problem...

Dont delete the file from file manager... If you do so then the filename still remains in the track list....

So if u want to delete a Music file open the walkman player > Go to tracks and delete the file from there... This way its deleted from the tracklist as well as from the memory card...

Thanks for ur help Ryansprague and Ranjith

This info is really handy, thanks everyone. By the way, is this a common problem in other phones also?

FROM LARA
I have been scouting around the net trying to solve the same ANNOYING problem. Wasnt going to stop til i solved the problem. bingo. I fixed it in 5 seconds.

1. When you are in the Walkman screen, you press the undo arrow button to bring up the Now Playing, Artists, Tracks etc menu.

2. You have to create a playlist, name it anything.

3. If then gives you a choice to tick whatever you want in that playlist.

4. Select one file.

5. All the other files in the walkman track list you couldnt get rid of before have been replaced by this one file. I used the 'Greeting' file, you cant delete anyway

6. Press 'Add'

When you go back into your walkman screen - you only have 1/1 file..
