just wondering if it is possible to connect the two using IR...i beleive t68i has it....i am getting the phone soon and i am wondering if i will be able to sinc the numbers so i don't have to enter theam all by hand

can i use my t69i as a modem for my palmV over IR?

if so how would i do this....i tried avantgo....but it says that server is not registered...or something like this

ok...i figured out how to configure my PalmV to work with my phone over IR...one thing i am missing though is the phone # in the phone setup under network.

This is SP specific i beleive and i need the setting for FIDO

Anybody know what it is ?

there are so many posts about this on the news groups ... but yet no real answers

i followed the steps on http://www.mapalad.org/html/help/gprs.html

this has so far been the best help i found. Howenr the phone ssays connecting and just hangs there until a timeout

i can't beleive the nobody has got Palm V and t68i working....
PLEASE HELP

It's probably the operator specific settings that cause your problems. My settings look different for the following three Items: Phone#, DNS, and Init String. I found the settings to these by guesswork and the Operator homepage. I also had to add stuff to my APN setting in the data profile of the GPRS settings in the phone.

I'm Surfing fast on a T300/Palm IIIx Combo and it should work pretty much exactly the same as your Combo aside from the Operator Specifics...
