Got the P990 and couldn't be happier!!
I just don't get it when people keep complaining and moaning endlessly. If you don't like it, don't buy it. If you feel it's dated, just get something more up to your standards. I just don't understand what people gain by doing this!! Do you gain points or something??
I believe I am using my P990i to its fullest:
As a 3Gblazing/browsing machine, solo or as a 3G modem. Works like a dream.
As a contact/calendar manager for my daily (and hectic) life.
As one of the best mobile email solutions.
Oh, the camera is also quite good. Much better than many so-called 3MP phone/cameras.

Sadly most people in the world want things to be done instantly, things to be perfect. We're humans for God's sake !! Having the money to spend doesn't give you the right to critic Companies because they don't "hurry". SE, in my opinion, is not a lazy company, and they are doing the best they can to give us good products, while sadly keeping in mind their own interests. That's just how things work, if you want justice, then YOU do the right thing, for one. Then "just wait" until the world follows along and hopefully one day it will all be done fairly. Cheers
