O2 UK and EA have joined forces to offer the operator's subscribers a free game download through December.
O2's Gaming Mondays promotion starts on December 1st , and on any monday during that month subscribers can get Need for Speed Carbon, The Sims 2, Tetris or FIFA 06 for free. The offer will be promoted across O2's 350 UK retail stores. The two companies are now looking into rolling the offer out across Ireland and Germany too.
Lincoln Wallen, CTO of EA Mobile, said: "We're doing this to try to encourage more people to sample mobile gaming. The industry is getting bigger all the time, but I think we all recognise the need to reach out to new users."
EA has certainly been brave in its choice of titles. Tetris is arguably mobile gaming's most valuable licence and The Sims 2 on mobile has already sold 1m across Europe. Meanwhile Need For Speed Carbon is EA's biggest Christmas cross platform release. As part of this promotion O2 is selling the title exclusively until November 1st.

if you put an o2 sim in(one of the many free ones you can get)you can get a free game and a ringtone and few pics for free.you can do this with every new simcard you put in,you do need to have the o2 wap settings switched on to connect to o2 games arcade though.
