I think it depends on the update file size: for R1ED001 is around 3 MB; the FOTA server--congested or not-- and the actual GPRS/EDGE/3G speed your operator has. When the signal is strong and no many people use the bandwidth, it's quicker. It's just like SEUS. During downloading update file, interruption is OK, but NOT during updating process. A fully-charged battery is likely a must.

actually for me 3g is not congested atall....not many ppl use it...so how time does it take ...an estimation?15-20 mins?coz i get charged for 3g per min....
and wats wrong with SEUS?i mean i downloaded the req. files selected the lang....then the green bar jst keeps movin!!!!!
