> K800i sms message alert prob

i work in a very noisy environment, when my k800i rings i can feel the vibrate no prob.
when someone sends me an sms, the vibrate is basically crap (very very weak!) and i never realise that i have a text until much later. i have tried adding a long mp3 as a message alert, doesn't make any difference to the vibrate length.
would a firmware update cure this prob (phone has r1cb001)?

afaik there is no way the vibra stronger and also no way to make a longer vibra action
