> Video Ringtone Settings? [K800i]
Bookmark topic
OK we all know that in the k800i you can have video ringtones where when u get a call a video is displayed along with its sound being played.
I was wondering wat were the best settings for that video? ie. wat resolution, bitrate, file size, etc.
I've tried using videos at res. 320x240 and around 10mb size in wmv format. When i get a call the sound starts playing but there is no video(the video can be played in the video player), also it effectively 'hangs' the phone. The sound keeps playing as per usual but the phone has slowed to much that its basicly frozen there.
If i use the videos i've recorded using the phone camera they work seemlessly, this is also the case with the demo video. Does anyone know the requirements for a ringtone for the best play back on the k800i ?
Btw. i'm using the latest firmware attainable from SEUS.

Anything dat video dj creates is in 176*144 i might try encoding my videos using that res. and same bitrate as the demo video.

Just tried encoding my video in 3gpp at 176x144. The phone is able to play the video and sound without hanging. But i'm sure its possible to have higher quality videos, possibly encoded in .mp4 format at 320x240 because the demo video works perfectly.

Because, the K800i is not able to use videos bigger than 5 mbs... You can't even preview them...
