> K510i a few questions

i've recently bought the K510i, after four happy years of using Siemens C55. a few things annoy/confuse me and some of they are probably general issues.
SOFTWARE: CXC1250231 R4CJ001
1) what's the point of the stand-by clock? i can barely see it in direct sunlight because there is no backlight in standby. is this normal?
2) whenever i return from standby (no backlight) the screen goes white and there's a lag 'till the image shows. is this normal?
3) it's a serbian localized version, but it doesn’t sort the phonebook entries correctly. all the "weird" letters are at the end. is there a setting for this i'm missing, or does it require a firmware upgrade?
4) what's the resolution of the caller image? i've read that it is resized by the phone and stored somewhere, but i would still like to resize it myself (the phone doesn't use any filters so it looks bad).
5) there's a 10 sec (it seems) limit for the message ring tone. is this necessary?
6) the image and video number resets after every download to PC, so i have to rename them or make a new folder. again, setting or firmware?
7) is there REALLY no way to zoom an image while viewing it even thoug it has more resolution than the screen?
8) the back cover moves to the sides ever so slightly but oh so annoying. is this common?
9) the buttons don't all feel the same - i'm going to ask for an exchange because of this.
and now the big question: if some of the above issues can be resolved with a firmware upgrade how long do you think i would have to wait? is SE looking out for their customers? or should i just return my phone instead?

"You can activate the loght by pressing any of the side buttons on the phone. But I can see it in direct sunlight without problems"

"Did the phone numbers are copied from other phone or made with other phone and now you're trying to open them with K510. I've noticed that phone numbers made with some other phone models are acting weird on my W800, so the text and number format varues from phone to phone. It does not need firmware update if the numbers made with the K510 are OK"

" It is limited to 10sec, but I think if it is longer you could think that you are receiving a call not a sms"

i just got off the phone with the service guy and he says that the phonebook sorting problem is "just the way it is"...
he also says that exchanging the phone will take a few days even if they determine that the back cover/button complaint is valid right away.
does anyone know if the localized software is flashed by SE, or importer/distributor/retailer... ? this is supposed to be an original "direct from factory" phone (i paid 200€ for it, even tough it can be bought for a lot less), but now i'm hearing it's flashed here anyway...
but the above are mostly endemic balkan problems, as my neighbor strizlow800 probably knows. de si brate!
3) sorting doesn't work even when i create an entry on the phone itself
5) i thought i'd use a special message ring tone, so there would be no way i can confuse it. but 10 sec is not enough...
7) images are jpeg taken with the phone. i can view them only (poorly) resized to fit the phone screen.
all in all, the most annoying issues are the white screen (2), and the physical imperfections (8 and 9). i could probably live with the others, but it seems i'll be returning this phone after all...

2.) This lag and white screen is normal, the K510i I have does the same thing, it's nothing to worry about.
9.) I think the battey cover does move and creat a bit, probably a 'design flaw' or something!

3) Siemens everytime puts an symbol at the end of every contact, to set it as Home/Mobile/Work or simply Family, Work, Friends, or Vip..
It happened to me, changing by a Siemens A56 to a Sony Ericsson T290... But.. you can delete it without problems.. But if you get Siemens Again (I don't think so!!) you won't see the icon that declares if a number is Home/M/W..
