Mobile phone cameras have always disappointed in terms of quality and price. So i'd rather chose an mp3 player over a camera.

lol of coz mp3 dude! unless you want to go buy an mp3 with that high quialty to just listen to music then i wouldnt bother, because my W800 and W550 gives me the option of mega bass as well as phone feature
and for camera get a real digital camera ftw..much higher quality more camera features
i bet ya compairing Walkman phone with K800i

coz ive got over that and choose Walkman
cheers,
Bleach~

Neither... but I use the K610 MP3 player more often than it's camera. Both are more than sufficient for a "business" phone. At some place - visiting a customer - I had to leave my phone in my car,
because it has a camera. No cameras allowed inside the building. So I would prefer a K610 with no camera at all. I know there is the M600 - but that one is too big.

The camera is the NEXT most important thing to me (after the main objective of the handset-calls) ! MP3 is not that important, 'cause I can SING !

i prefer the
camera more than the music player in a phone. why? here are some reasons:
the music player, when used most of the time,
drains the battery pretty fast. i used to play music on my cell most of the time, and i found myself charging my phone on a daily basis. that was a non-issue before, until i realized the hassle of having an almost-empty battery when you're not near a 'charging area' and you're waiting for an important call (i.e. wall outlet; car cigarette lighter). that's the reason why i bought a separate music player.
the camera, although not used as often as the music player,
becomes important when you need to take a picture of something 'unexpectedly'. (i.e. , when you suddenly bump into a friend you haven't seen in a long-long time and you want to take a picture of him/her. or maybe a cool car that's parked in a parking lot you just passed by. or maybe a celebrity that happened to go by your way, etc...)
it's true that a dedicated digital camera beats a phone camera anytime, but then again, you don't
always carry a dedicated digital camera for use in 'unexpected' situations, right?
while it's impractical to carry a dedicated digital camera most of the time, it's practical to carry a music player most of the time. most dedicated digital cameras are on the bulky side, while most dedicated music players are small and convenient to carry around
not all may agree to my arguments, but this is a forum site, and remember, everyone's entitled to their opinion as long as it doesn't offend anyone.
