so .. looking at my K750 right now and how many times i dropped it onto the floor since i bought it 7,8 months back .. i think i should atleast see what other ppl's been doing .. caz i feel guilty at times at how badly i treated my phone

> The first time i dropped my phone was like from 1.5 Feet around 15 days after i bought the phone, the phone survived

> the next time ... around 2.5 Feet ..i was standing .. and unconsciously when i dropped the phone i commited a blunder and tried catching the phone with my feet .. doing so ..the phone sorta got kicked like a footbal ..and well .. onto the floor .. survived but a few scratches on the upper right corner.

> then ... dropping it from ~1 feet was like once a week routine .. sometimes from my bed when i'd leave it on the edge ..some time from the chair to floor in my class. kept surviving

> this is the worst accident that happenned to my phone, ... i was in the GYM, working out at around 19:00 ... .. after the regular excersie i was supposed to hand upside-down with a 5-6 feet hight support rod ... the k750 was in my jeans' pocket .. and as soon as i was in the perfect upside down position ..the k750 slowly managed to get outta my pocked and BANG!!! .. onto the floor ..and i was like .. PHUCK!! .. ShhYTT.. DAAYMM...!!!

the phone ... its keypad holder was opened up .. like the holders was pushed from the inside .. and i could see the inside part ... i was like 'damn .. my warranty is scr**ed... but thankfully when i pressed the keypad holder cover .. it just firmly got back to its normal place.

so excluding the distance from my knees to my jean's pocket thats ~1 feet ..the phone survived a height of atleat 4.5 Feets .. considering other fones .. it might have just broken up or something .. so ..conclusion.. SE phones aren't as delicated as they seem ... or may be i was lucky thta day ...but i know onething ... i've been repeating 'Thanks God, you saved Me' for like half an hour on my way back to home from gym .. looking forward to your TRUE experiences ...

btw my cousin test dropped his K750 from World Trade Center on September 12, 2005.

i also dropped my k750i quite a lot of times but i won't forget that instance that it actually popped out from my pockets while riding my honda scooter bike. i wasn't that fast though i can't imagine how much it was thrashed along the street, i only realized it fell went i heard a crash and felt something disappeared in my pocket. but by miracle of saints it still works. the housing wasn't that thrashed much and i intend not to replace it for i could show it off to my friends on how "seasoned" my k750i had become.

dropped my w800i about 20 times from heights ranging from 1 feet to 6 feet. still works good as new but is pretty scratched bad. btw never drop it on concrete, did it once while was running . rolled around the floor and got slapped onto a brick wall, memory card came flying off.

it's not a k750i, but chck this out: i had an ericsson r310, which i still have, and my friend borrowed it from me! he has a motorbike too, and i think it's also a honda. anyways. he was riding 160 km/h and the phone suddenly dropped! and it still works properly!

Ah I remember mine...new phone(w800), new hoodie(damn shallow pockets). First day went out to eat, when i got up from my seat the phone kind of flew out of my pocket and my heart stopped as it slowly projected towards the ground, just out of my reach.

Still works fine though =D

hmm.. not that high really.. sitting on a chair at a cafe, fell out of my shorts pocket... i heard the sickening crack sound as my k750i slammed into the hard tiled floors... even my mem stick almost got knocked out of its little slot...

fortunately, bar a few scratches, it all works fine still !!
