Does anyone know of any keymapper-style applications available for the P990?

With the P910 I used to have SMan which allowed me to assign keys to start and close applications.

Been looking around for a similar app on the P990 but can't find anything so far.......

Hi, I am afraid developers may not be too keen to work on such an app, all thanks to the damn "Symbian Signed" thingy that developers will have to fork out $$$ to get licensed by Symbian before hardware keys mapping functionality can be used.

I am missing my Magic Launcher so much now...

Swines!

Oh well - I guess I'll have to wait and see then.

Failing that, does anyone know if there are any decent desktop-style applications available or in-progress?

I've got the Orange rubbish menu thing at the moment and I'm desperate to get rid of it. A keymapper application would have been great to bypass the menu - otherwise, a desktop application would do. I think I had Handy Desktop in the past, but I can't find a UIQ 3 version for it........

Tracker and Handy Desktop for UIQ 2.x are excellent Desktop software, but both also comes with hardware key mapper, which I am not sure if Symbianware and Epocware are willing to fork out $$$ to Symbian. Magic Launcher, an excellent one handed "Desktop" kind of software also comes with an excellent key mapper... sigh... wonder will any developers work on porting over their UIQ 2.x Desktop software "fully" over to UIQ 3.0
