Can anyone tell me why when i try to zoom with camera on normal mode is says "zoom not available in this mode" seems a little strange its ok in panorama mode

Sounds like its just normal for a SE camera phone then.
You sure you aint got your normal & panorama modes mixed up?

As ear as i'm aware, there is no zoom function when using normal mode on the W850i, neither is there a Macro mode! Strange enough, you can only zoom when not using 2mp!
