> why is my k750i so slow all of a sudden?
Bookmark topic
well, you see, when i got my k750, it seemed soooo fast (especialy compareed to t630/s700..) now i don't know if it's just me, but the menus and especially zooming in on a photo seem tediously slowww. sometimes when i zoom now, and click the + button more then once in quick succesion the phone completely freezes up and i have to pull the batery to reset it. Would a master reset help? if i was to master reset, is there any way to back up my installed java games and apps without the .jar files? i think this might be due to me installing a large number of games then removing them again. do they leave traces in the phone memory, like on a computer? thanks

I too experience this same problem on my K750i. Does a master reset affect data stored on the memory card?

How can we store games/applications on memory stick ? because when I download any application or game it just show me which folder to store in either application or game but there is no option for memory stick over there..
One more thing is my Sound/Videos/Themes etc remain as it is on memory after the master reset but everything from phone memory was lost.

to move java apps to memory stick, go to more on the game file, and select move to ext. memory.

I had the same problem a while ago, much slower than usual operation, including freezing when zooming a picture, a few seconds delay when navigating, and long delay for the camera to get ready after opening the lens cover. It is caused by a corrupt mspd and the solution was simple. Copy all the content of mspd to computer hdd, format the mspd from the phone (file manager > more), and copy back the content from hdd to mspd. Btw, I used a card reader for transfering the content, not sure if it is done through the phone + usb cable would also fix it.

I just got a 2nd hand Silver (my fave . . . almost) K750i . . . and when I was about to use the camera . . . the screen freezes or hangs

There are times also that when after I charge the unit and turn the POWER - ON, I can ONLY see the

logo (process does not continue till the main page)

Can a software update remedy this

I never (not even once) had my

fones upgraded (firmware) . . . only if deemed necessary, looks like this will be my - 1st

!

@kwabs2006: its a great phone, or so the reviews and stuff and my opinion say. It's been out for quite a while, so its a proven design, and is pretty stable. Also, being rather old, it's at a pretty reasonable price for me here in NZ. I'd recommend it, I don't see anything better for the same price.
@*jojo* I'm not exactly an expert, but im pretty sure a flash with SEUS would sort it out. Your data isn't affected, in a flash with seus, so it's reasonably safe...(edit) Also, is it the latest firmware?
