can anyone tell me where beamed items are stored each time I beam a file I get a list of beamed itmes, yet I have either deleted them or stored them elsewere and as some were large i would like to make sure the are building up in th edevice somewhere

Well i just got my P990i today and everything goes into messages. Then you open it up and it will prompt you to save and then ask where you want it to be stored.

I also prefer how the 910 does it too, along with a lot of other features.
My n70 & n80 does the same as the p990.

I agree, this is so stupid. If you beam alot, you will eventually have all the files stored twice if you don't delete the "message" it came with. Why mess things up, it's been working fine on all other SE models I've tried.

if i remember correctly, when a beamed item is received, you are given the option to save the file straight away. if this is done, the message itself is not saved.
it's actually very similar to the P910 except non-saved beams are stored in with SMS, MMS etc. instead of in their own folder.

Thanks guys I was aware they go to messaging but when you beam an item you get a grey list appear naming the files you have previously sent and i wondered if there were copies of the files held elsewhere just taking up space.
