OK so all of us Mac fanboys have to 'lower' ourselves (joke, honest) to using a PC in order to update the firmware on the P990 . . . but has anyone tried using VirtualPC to do it instead and if so does it work??

Oh bugger! What about installing boot camp, would that work? I haven't had any problems yet so not really bothered about updating. However if it did become iffy i would like to be able to update, we have a pc but it is buggered and won't switch on lol.

I think that buying a mew Mac just to get my P990i (whenever I manage to order it) may be just a little overkill . . . still, I can add it to the list of reasons to buy one!!
