Yamigo is a kind of instant messaging system for mobile phones. It uses GPRS internet to send and recieve text messages from one phone to another. You need a compatible phone and an account with
www.yamigo.com to use the service.
So, it's basically like text messaging except that, in theory at least, it's free! The Yamigo system itself is free to use which means that you only pay for the relatively small amount of GPRS data usage that is required to send and recieve the messages, rather than the fixed-fee for each message that you would incur if you were using standard SMS messaging.
Yamigo reckon that their system is often much cheaper than using SMS, especially if you have a contract phone and get a monthly quota of 'free' GPRS usage.

Do yourself a favor and don't mess with smartvas or yamigo. Do a google search for eqo mobile. It is great...and free. You can access AIM, Yahoo, ICQ, MSN, jabber, google talk, and skype.

Since SE phones have built in feature to send SMS over GPRS, services like those are of no importance. Learn your mobile!
