has anyone found any disassemble guide for w850i? i really need one so that i can change my black cover with a friend's white (locked on voda..that's why we want to change covers)

because the white ones are exclusive to voda in the uk and currently there is no way to unlock w850/k800

i still dont see the point , you can swap covers all you like and it wont unlock anything lol , you risk breaking you phone aswell , you can however flash its firmware so that it debrands it

He is going to put an unlocked (non vodafone) w850i PCB in a white casing, the vodafone locked PCB will be "swapped" into the old black housing.


Not sure a guide exists, however it should be pretty simple to do aslong as you are just swapping PCBs, on not LCD and all that. Just take the screws off at the back(there might be some under a sticker), find the PCB, remove the connector for the LCD, then pop in the second PCB and screw up the housing.

SIMPLE.....
