Hey guys.
I have a SE Z800 which is giving me some trouble. Everything worked fine before , connected just fine via cable and nothing was wrong. I had to reinstall Windows and after that, no matter what I tried , the SAME PC wont recognize the SAME phone. It doest even say "new hardware found" or something. Any idea why? I installed all the drivers, cable drivers, the connection software, NOTHING. I am beginning to think that the cable might be broken in some spot.
Do u happen to know why this might happen?

Get a q-tip and some alcohol and dab the q-tip in the alcohol so it's damp. Then rub the q-tip on the z800's usb connectors on both ends of the cable including the female end on the phone. This will just sterilize the connectors that could have been crippled from oxidation. If this dosen't work there is possibly a fault somewhere along the cable.
