Just a little shout out for advice. I am thinking about upgrading the software on my t68 r2d005 to t68i. Is it worth it. I spoke to an orange manager while I was working overseas and he basically yea go for it. Same hardware in both phones, its all good. However, inquires back here in the uk have resulted in quite a few people saying that there is a different processor in the t68i and that the t68 slows and flakes with the new sw, even to the extent that peeps want to revert back to the t68 sw and attempt to retro grade their phones back again, (which is apparently impossible).

So.....is it worth it?? Does it slow the phone down. Or should I just wait till my contract is up and get a proper t68i.

I got 2 mc's upgraded at sony-ericsson north edsa free of charge yesterday. The latest version is r7a013 which comes in two language packs, Chinese (the one with inconsistent font sizes) and Bahasa (the one without wuziqi).

I just wanted the users to know that its free of charge (even non-warranty units) and the employees were as polite as the people at smartnet and semicon sm manila.

Good day!
