Anyone see the Will Smith movie "I, Robot?" Remember the mobile phone he had? It was nothing more than a headset (no actual handset):
We're partway there, with such
headsets as the
Jabra BT800...
That would be cool, though a bit
Borg-ish
As a stepping-stone to that, and since
has been a pioneer in
applications, why not make a
handset with no speaker and no mic? Give it a QVGA display and usable keypad, and it could still be very small. And include a "matching"
headset with it.
Just a thought

i guess the major problem in that design is power supply. Batteries small enough to fit inside such a phone would have very less capacity.
But once more efficient types of batteries are developed, these ear-phones would be a reality for sure.
And the point? Isnt it cool to have such a small phone that always rests in your ear?
