What say you to the thought of a heterosexual man carrying around a small "man bag" aka "man purse" aka "murse?" Given the international composition of this forum, this should be fun

As for myself... on the one hand, I don't like the idea of lugging around a bag of any size. On the other hand, I can't stuff everything in my pockets, which already look awful. So count me as "undecided."

In the US (at least), it is quite the fashion faux pas to where a backpack with a shirt and tie (de rigeur for most professional workplaces).
Not to mention the "poor student" stigma of the backpack.

I like the man bag movement. The picture above doesn't do them justice though; i have seen much more stylish interpretations of the concept. And stuffed pockets aint a turn on guys.
Oh, and before I'm labelled queer; I'm of the female gender.

I have to carry one around everyday for my laptop, It's more like a messenger bag but longer in length rather than the width.
I would hate to carry a back pack as thats too old school and a briefcase alike or typical laptop bags are too big, uncomfortable and really not my thing..

I usually carry my backpack around with me, it's a bit like that - one strap over my head and the bag goes diagonal across my back.
