Have anyone made any conclusions on how the picture/sound/(games) memory affect the menu speed on SE phones? i.e. is the phone slower if the memory is full?

i dont think it affects speed, once its loaded it is there and rendered or whatever you call it... but it is a good idea not to flood your phone with the useless stuff you will never get to use...

After I went on a picture download spree from esato's wap site I almost managed to fill up all of my t68i's memory. However, scrolling through each pic (zoomed in mode and not tiled mode) in the my pictures section was still as fast as ever. Same for the rest of the phone, no slower than usual

well look at it that way, if your hard drive in your compuer is full and you want to open or access a document in your computer, do it take long time or no??? specially if your compuer RAM is not that high..! here you have the same concept it's basically a small computer with 1MB hard drive and around 256KB RAM. you can try it fill up your memory with pic's and screensavers and you will see how slow to do anything in your phone

okay even if it slows things down, the change is so insignificant.. and definately not that serious, to give up some of the pics you like so much... i mean i got my memory 80% full and i have no problems runing the phone... imo these things are not computers, they should be approached differently....
