i've just noticed on
www.mess.be free mobile versions of the windows live messenger client!
most versions are .jar files and a couple are .sis but for Series60.

They want people to buy windows phones....so they make monies. Not gona go around making symbian application unless they can sell it coz not as many people would want to buy microsofts phones anymore.

Just installed 'WLM Mobile 384' which is supposed to be for the K800, W900 etc on my P990. Doesn't work from what I can see. Can't get it to connect. Anyone else tried it? Any success?

Hi,
Tried this too on my W850i and it didnt work (3 network) however the application itself does work. I tested this with the Sony SDK emulator which used the local PC internet connection. worked fine and managed to login. Suspect if it doesnt work on the phone it might be due to some restriction on the connection messenger is using?

thanks for the suggestion, this way it worked for me too, but instead of seeing normal commands and headlines, I only see empty squares (I even had to guess the use prooxy option since all I could see were empty squares in all options)... any suggestions as to how to fix this would be greatly welcome.
