just tried updating my w550i but got this message...



ive never seen this notice before.

This happened to any one before? Why did this happen, any thing i can do to fix it?

please help

possibly broken / shaky connection or just temporary "glitch". first try "remove phone and press restart" as prompted. if that fails, try turning phone and computer off, restart computer then phone. rememner to charge battery fully and remove sim.

i unistalled and reinstalled seus, had the w550i on charge for about 5 hours, did what the message said to, but nothing happened....

The first time i tried it after the re-install it started loading a bit more, i thought it was going to work as the green bars were going all the way, but then that message come up again.....

any one help out?

arghhh, after trying it again, the phone does NOT turn on now ....

When i hold the power button, a few seconds later, the screen blinks for not even a second, and thats all, nothing happens....ive tried charging etc, nothing works, just a blink from the screen here and there, some times not even that happens...

any one help?

my w550i already had that problem (when i got it bout a week ago ,4 months old not brand new) which i described in the above post, but i fixed the problem via seus....

Any way, the problem came back a day later, and when trying to fix it again via seus, i get the message which i showed in my first post here....

so i guess the phone will now need reflashing? Or if someone can tell me how to fix my seus, that would be great...

Looks like a phone hardware, cable or computer problem. First, make sure your computer is running a fully updated Windows XP Service Pack 2. You might check if everything works reliably for long file transfer operations and try using a different computer / cable / phone.

cable and computer are the same i used to update k800i, worked perfect....its definately a phone problem, im going to get some ones help using gflash

ok i finally got seus working, new software now installed, but the phone still doesnt turn on???

I tried puting the battery from a v600i in, both are bst37, when i put it in the same thing happens although i can feel a little vibration and the speakers let out some sort of sound, dont know what sound it is though...
