I bent two of the pins on my HDD connector so now it is now recognised at all, to fix this i need to replaced the PCB which connects the HDD to the HDD conector if you know what I mean.
Anyway, I can see the bit I want to remove and swap with an identical one, however I dont have the right screwdrivers. It is a Tx type i presume it is standard on all HDD, does anyone know what size it is though?
My question is therefore, what size of T screwdriver do most HDD need to be dismantled.?
Thanks.

hmmm... to be honest i don't know the actual size of the torx screw, but i've seen some stores selling torx screw sets (from T5 to T10 i think). perhaps you could buy that set and try one and hope that it will fit...
