Hi
Something a bit weird has started happening when I call people
When I call a number - which I'm assuming is stored on the phone - it now displays a "+" sign after the persons name
I recently backed up my contacts to SIM - but surely that wouldnt havent affected the phone?
Any help appreciated

you have actually given yourself the answer.
Contacts that exist in the SIM will have a (+) sign in the contact list.

but the phone is dialling from the number in the phones memory OR from the number in the sim?
or is it just informing me that the number ALSO exists in the Sim?

The plus shows if the same number exists elsewhere in your contacts, even in your phone memory
